certiaholding.com is the website of Certia, an auxiliary company of the financial system (empresa auxiliar del sistema financiero) based in Quito, Ecuador. Certia designs, integrates and operates artificial intelligence and technology operations for banks, credit cooperatives, insurers, fintechs, telcos, retail and public companies.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it.

Use of the site

You may browse, read and share the site's content for lawful purposes, citing the source. Forms must be filled in with true data about yourself, or with the consent of the person the data belongs to.

Informational content

The articles, guides and examples on the site are for information only. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and they do not replace a professional's analysis of your situation. Describing a service does not mean we offer it on particular conditions: scope, prices and timelines are agreed in a signed contract.

Certia AI assistant

The assistant answers with an artificial intelligence model based on the information published on the site. Its answers can contain errors or omissions. They are not binding offers and do not set prices, timelines or conditions: commercial terms exist only in contracts signed by Certia. Before making a decision, confirm any relevant detail with our team. Do not share sensitive data or other people's personal data in the chat.

Intellectual property

The Certia brand and the site's text, images, design and code belong to Certia or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify or use them commercially without written permission. Brief quotes with a reference to the source are allowed.

Prohibited uses

Scraping content in a way that affects how the site works, or to feed a competing service.
Attacking or overloading the site, or trying to access areas, data or accounts without authorization.
Running security tests or scans without prior written authorization. If you find a vulnerability, report it as described on the Information security page.
Impersonating Certia or its team, or sending malicious content through the forms or the chat.
Using the assistant to generate unlawful content or to obtain information about third parties.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules, without prejudice to any legal action that may apply.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party services such as WhatsApp or LinkedIn. Those sites have their own terms and policies, and Certia is not responsible for their content or how they work.

If you subscribe, you will receive articles and news from Certia about artificial intelligence and technology operations in financial institutions and companies, up to twice a month. You confirm your subscription from the email we send you, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link included in every email. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site available and its information current, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. To the extent Ecuadorian law allows, Certia is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or decisions based solely on the site's content or the assistant's answers.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that Ecuadorian law gives you and that cannot be waived, including those under the Organic Law on Consumer Protection where it applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. Changes do not alter contracts already signed.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent judges of Quito.
