Why Certia
The name comes from certeza, Spanish for certainty. It is what we look for in every project: helping your institution know more clearly whom it lends to, who will pay, who is who and where it is exposed.
Certia grew out of day-to-day work with financial institutions in Ecuador. We saw capable teams stuck in manual processes, decisions made with incomplete data and vendors delivering loose pieces without taking responsibility for the operation.
So we brought together in one team what is usually contracted separately: artificial intelligence, technology operations, cybersecurity and analytics. We design the solution, integrate it with your systems and run it with you, with indicators reviewed at every committee meeting.
Today Certia leads a group: Certia Asistencias runs warranty programs, ScoreaFácil verifies credit and Gail, an international platform we represent in Ecuador, handles conversations. We are an auxiliary services company of Ecuador's financial system (empresa auxiliar del sistema financiero) and work with banks, cooperatives, insurers, fintechs and other regulated operations that want measurable results and a long-term relationship.
